Awesome, four speakers in my car are blown! The subwoofer is still in great shape, so now my music sounds like a walkie talkie--with lots of bass!

That sucks bro! Just get a Magic Mike bass CD and see how long your sub will last.


They were the stock paper cone speakers anyway. Only a matter of time til the metal destroyed them.

You're right about that. One of the first things I did was upgrade the Boston Acoustic door speakers and tweeters in the pillar to a JL Audio component system. I like my metal and rock LOUD and I was afraid they fronts couldn't handle it. The 6x9s seem up to the task though or maybe it's the 8" sub I added in the trunk.
