The video in the link isnt coming up but you can watch the video in the news article. Sad, this has been happening too often...
16 y/o kid about 30 miles south of this accident was driving north on I-75 in a Lexus, was about to get pulled over, took off, got to about 100 mph and hit the barrier wall on the left, bounced accross all lanes of I75 and hit a truck in the rest area. The car exploded like in the movies killing the 16 y/o. Be safe out there. |

What is a 16 year old doing driving a LEXUS in the first place? Parents really need to wake up when it comes to cars that have alot of power. My first car was a 53 Studerbaker and YES I too tryed to out run the cops at 16 years of age and with a 53 Studerbaker you just don't have a chance and it was no fun being driven home at 6:15AM on a Sunday morning sitting in the back seat of a Calif. State Trooper or what ever they call them selves now. That happen about 1960 and the lesson I learned was to drive sane.

Guy was driving a 3rd gen Firebird not a Lexus. And he was flying before he ever left the ground. Amazing he survived at all.
