It would be better for me, but not better for the fest. Not next year anyway.

I half jokingly suggested a road trip with me, Dragoneye and C_C down to 'Location X' for C5Fest II. Stopping only for food, gas, and 'relief' we could make pretty good time. One drives, one navigates, one sleeps. Rotate every 8 hours. The perfect plan. Only condition I have: we don't take Dragoneye's Cobalt. I've driven a Cobalt before, I don't plan on doing it again.

I didn't realize that Dragoneye didn't have his Camaro yet

Bah, I've got one of these babies:

though I only have the painted wheels ... I have thought about asking a local junkyard to keep a lookout for a fairly new set of 5 spoke chrome Grand Prix wheels. I've been told W-body wheels fit on Grand Ams

I wish I had the money to grab a G8. I looked into one but I loved the Camaro. I'd wanted one since I saw the Detroit Auto Show in '06.

Where'd the G8 come from? Thats a black 5th generation Grand Am coupe yer lookin' at (G8 = Grand Prix, 8th generation/edition and G6 = Grand Am, 6th generation/edition). That fine looking piece of machinery is pretty similar to what I've got in my garage at the moment, aside from the wheels mine came with and the vent-visors I've added to my car (and the age gap of several model years ... )

Your Pontiac made me think of a black G8 I test drove. Sorry for not clarifying that for you.
