Because I actually read (and LOVED) the graphic novels, I was in love with the film the moment I saw the first trailer way back in March. Having actually seen the movie (opening day; first daytime showing), I can say that it does a great justice to the monolith that Bryan Lee O'Malley created in Scott Pilgrim.
But, whether or not you'll like it really comes down to your age. There are a ton of video game throw backs that you can really only appreciate i you were born in/grew up in the '80s. Furthermore, you have to go into this movie with your brain shutoff. You can't even begin to try and make sense of it or you'll ruin it for yourself.
All in all, it's a generational thing. If you're young, you'll love it; if not, it's very debatable as to whether or not it's even worth seeing.
Being a 17 year old kid, I loved it.

But the script was boring for me, too many gimicky things going on and it was a chick flick through and through. Also at the same time I don't think I was nerdy enough for the movie.

But I saw Kickass on blu-ray this weekend and loved it!
The movie was pretty nerdy got lost in some of the terms but Kickass was an awesome movie
