Watched it last Friday with my g/f and even she liked it!!! It was pretty cool that he did the movie the old school way, lots of action and stuff gettin' blown up and people getting shot!

Horrible script. Only plot was to go after a girl who chose to stay behind that he met for a total of 30 mins. Stalone has more plastic surgery than Hedi Montag. His face is bordering comic status. Are his eybrows even real anymore? I enjoyed the action movies of the 80's and early 90's. Hell, the first movie my family ever rented on VHS was "First Blood" the original Rambo. It just seemed to me that there was more story and for sure more realistic action, by that I mean actual stuntwork not Computer Generated. If they were going for more of an Old School action flick, why was there so much CG blood spray every time someone got hit or shot. Man, I thought I was watching another "300" or "Sin City" flick. I like Jason Stathom's Transporter movies ( First was the best ) but this was not his best work. Jett Li looked like a total whimp. Got his ass kicked each time. This was a typical Stalone movie. Not That Great! IMOHO............

If I wanted a plot I would have read a book and if I wanted acting i would have watched C-Span...
I knew what to expect from this movie and I got it. Mickey Rourke is the man.

The movie is all about mindless killing, action, explosions, knives flying everywhere, and a bunch off old stars. It's not Saving Private Ryan and the original RAMBO wasn't an intellectual thriller either. This movie was awesome and very entertaining. When the black dude came out with the AA-12 with the drum magazine on it and began blasting away I was smiling from ear to ear.
