No he isn't. He is an American of Korean decent. Big difference.

I don't see a problem with it at all. But that is my personal opinion.

You were out of work for 5 months last year. Most likely that was partly because of the loss of jobs in your local economy due to jobs being outsourced over seas.

You live down the road from Oshawa, St Catherines, and several other large auto manufacturing facilties..... and you buy a car made in Korea.

As I said, with all due respect, but is it just me, or does anyone else see something really wrong with this picture?

I don't see anything wrong with it... I would do the same thing, especially if the company i worked for (that laid me off) was GM or a supplier of their parts..

the Genesis Coupe is great car... no reason why people wouldn't cross shop it with a v6 mustang or camaro...

So,it would be better or the American way to buy a vehicle that is out of his price range and than struggle to make payments?

Congratulations on the Genesis

.........it was also on my list of cars last year also..............

way to crap on someone's parade man.

OP, the Genesis coupe is a fine car. Korean are better built than a lot of people think. Ignorant people are stuck in the past and have opinion based on when Hyundai did make cheap low quality cars much like the American automakers did forever until just handful of years ago.

Congrats on the Genesis, i was also considering it when purchasing my camaro, But i did not compare it to the SS, i dont see why you would compare it to the SS, its more in the V6 league. (price and performance wise)

Did you even considered an LT or an LS? same HP, but its a Camaro.

I fail to see the difference between this and a US citizen buying a car made in Canada unless you live with blinders on.

I guess US citizens shouldnt buy the Camaro..it was made in Canada. Same with the Challenger..made in Canada.

Only the Mustang is made in the US.

I think it’s ridiculous they even put the genesis in the same category as the big three. I'm entitled to my personal opinion and you wouldn’t see me in a Korean car folks, ever. I bet some of you can't wait for a korean full size truck to come out, too.
