You will enjoy the subaru. I did exactly what you did when i moved to chicago for a few years for work. I had a 05 legacy gt i went with and ran a fpgreen turbo/fmic setup in it. 450hp in a awd car is alot of fun blasting through the snow. The awd in these cars are amazing. I had to put mine down though when the turbo exploded and shot metal shavings into the engine. Great cars. Heres a shot of mine for any suby fans

A Legacy 2.5GT Limited was my second choise to the Camaro. If I was still conserned about being a family man I would be in one for the 4 door.

I love the WRXs. Congrats

My friend had two a 04 WRX and 05 STi. Very awesome cars. They were both a blast to drive.
