My new car

My roots are in muscle cars, but I am driving out to Colorado for school (University of Colorado) tomorrow and I needed AWD so I could handle the winters and get my ass to the mountains to go snowboarding every other day. I picked this up for $21k with only 10,800 original miles. The car is basically brand new and it's completely paid off. I'm super stoked. I'm installing a turbo-back exhaust as soon as I get to CO, followed by some higher flowing injectors and a fuel pump so I can run e85. Looking for 115+ traps and 11's on the stock turbo.

I won't be messing with any SS's until I get the exhaust on and tune it, but the 6's, you guys can have a try

If you paid $21k for that, you could have gotten yourself into a new Camaro LS for just a few thousand more (probably less than that for a used one). Don't like, whatever it is that you purchased. Especially that "wing" in the back - in my opinion. Glad you like it. I could have gotten a lot more for that kind of money though. Enjoy school and your ride

I don't think you can get a Camaro LS in AWD.

Thanks for your kind comments and your opinions. This is a far better performance car than an ls camaro in every single way though. It's got the same power, but weighs quite a bit less, has better brakes, handles better and responds to modifications WAY better. Plus, the necessity of AWD made a camaro an impossibility. To each their own. I didn't buy the car for looks, I bought it to have an 11 second street car that I can strap my snowboard to the top of and drive to vail in 6 inches of snow

AWD

Unless Camaro's have this as option,he picked the possible best AWD car out there. Not to thrilled with those wingy things on the back but for snow, that "rally" car will get the job done........good choice........ Even us VW GTI owners know that car can whoop arse.

STI will eat a stock Camaro V6 any time, anywhere. Stock for stock, it can even run with the SS and will definitely leave it in the dust in any curvy roads. A pre-owned Sti is what we call a pocket rocket. Camaro V6 can't compare.

I'd went with an Evolution IX or X myself, but WRX STi are a close second out of that market. Of course I think they're the only two in that market LOL.

It CAN run with an SS, given both average drivers. The STi can't break 12's, so really the SS is a lot better drag car.

Like this beast.......not to fond of the vacuum lips in the front but it will blow alot of muscle cars away.......literally.

I beg to differ. I have driven a stock Sti and I know it can break into the 12s. No matter.
