I'm also curious about the pricing info stated above. It would be great if was priced like they did the 03-04 Mach 1 (just north of the GT). Somehow I don't see that happening, and my prognostication is $45K or so.

all pricing is speculation at this point. i have heard guesses from 36k to 45k. I believe the pricing will be about 40k, dependent on the base equipment.

650 rwhp, give that a shot with your 5.0 or 4.6....make sure you watch out for shrapnel.

I read the complete article about the "new" 5.0 that some of the Blue Oval crew at my work supplied for me. Article was from a Ford rag, and they stated that despite the new design, the rods were still the weak link in the chain.

I suggest you do some google research first....how many LSX motors have you modded? Can't be that many is my guess.

Good point!

I never mentioned boost in the 5.0/4.6 statement. All I said was it was a rwhp limit of around 425 - 450 depending on the dyno.

I'm done here....I can't win because the Mustang is clearly god's gift to motoring and the Camaro and the LS3 are clearly junk.

ENJOY!

What do you think the weak link is in the LS3 engine??

Yep you guessed it, the rods.

He drove a modded mustang acting like a typical mustang driver?

Are you SURE he had a Camaro too?

There are plenty of gaudy sticker packages available in the Camaro aftermarket to make them look just as fast.
