Well "gang" I guess I fall in the Old Fart Club, but I can drive a car/truck with a "stick", I hear and read about the kids that have been given a car with a stick and can't drive it. I was 9 years old when my grandfather told me to take the truck (1930 AA Ford truck) and go to the feed mill and pickup the cow feed. I looked at him and almost said " are you crazy" no I didn't say that to him because I would not be here today, I am thinking he was thinking, because I could drive the tractor or ride the mule I could drive the truck.

He pick up a stick and I got to work on driving that truck,it didn't take long and the roads were all dirt and the ditches were not to deep so I was lucky. I will never forget that day. I am sure that there is a lot of us that have this kind of stuff to remember. So being a Old Far is not a big deal with me!

I resemble that remark!!!! I was driving tractors & pick up trucks before I had really mastered my 2 wheeler. Farms are like that. Yet My husband does not want me to drive the SUV. Clueless. He is 2 years younger than me, My mother would say I didn't raise him up right!
