Toyota has left a bad taste in most of our mouths lately, but i think this idea is kinda cool. It's nice that they are doing something in the memory of their late chief test driver.

I can actually see a production version under all that plastic. Methinks Toyota had been toying with the idea until Narsue bit the big one then threw the idea out into the media ether as a 'tribute'..

Doesn't sit right with me even if he was a Toyota driver...

This one, as the headline states, is a "Baby" FT-86...think A-class sized, similar in size to a Yaris, or Aveo. A potential "pocket rocket"...along the lines of the "original" Mini Cooper.

Great idea! Fun to drive, hot as hell, marvellous mpg...win-win-win!
