I will just go find Tag with his boat and I will bring a fire extinguisher just in case Tony's cousin is correct and it starts raining fire.

Honestly though as far as I am concerned nobody knows how or when the earth will end. And nobody can/will ever know. I know where I am headed if it happens before I die so I am not worried about it at all.

It looks like me placing my order is what will end the world because I won't be able to place mine until 2012.

If the world is ending in December 2012, I guess that means the facelift for the 2014 Camaro will be delayed? By the way, this planet has suffered "armageddon" before. (see the end of the dinosaurs). My point is, if the planet can come back from such a disaster, why are we all supposedly scared of "global warming" ruining Mother Earth? Global warming is BS and just a way for some aholes to profit from "green" technology. JMHO.

if no one knows how or when it will end, then how do you know where you are headed?

the planet can come back from all sorts of disasters. but human kind cannot. we (as humans) have yet to experience a serious global catastrophe, save for those recorded in religious texts.

Organized civilization, however, did not exist or survive it. An ice age would almost certainly destroy major cities. Canada, Russia, and the United States would be crippled. Much of Europe would still function to some extent, but the international damage would be extensive. Billions would starve. Diseases that haven't broken out for generations will come back without much to stop them. It will not be a good time for civilization when this happens.

You think so?
It would be a gradual thing, big glaciers wouldn't just pop up overnight...you don't think we'd all just become eskimos over time?

(and the equator was still nice and warm, according to "natural records" Let's move to Austrailia)

My philosophy is this;

"If you worry too much about tomorrow, you miss enjoying today."

Personally, I try my best to enjoy living in the moment. I don't worry about what I have no control over.

So, who knows what tomorrow brings. Enjoy each moment and have fun!

glaciers aren't the problem. its the rapid cooling of the annual temperature that leads to harsher winters that eventually last year(s) long.

but actually, Australia would be our best bet hands down. in nearly every scenario the Aussies come away nearly unscathed.
