ALL OF IT!I said car and driver. Also read this one . http://blogs.edmunds.com/karl/2010/0...ustang-gt.html Yes over all they liked the stang best. And we all know about road and track and the mustang 12.7 and carmaro 13.0 http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...son/index.html So take a pill . Both nice cars . ![]() You do relize I am a camaro fan and owner of a 2010 RSSS And lots of guys here posting high 12s on camaro5 What I am saying is from what I see a LS3 camaro will be right there with a 5.0 2011 stang. Stock vs stock. PS I Would say on the average they run a flat to low 13's give or take 5 tenths on both cars. STOCK! Last edited by skar; 08-16-2010 at 09:33 PM. |

I agree completely. It has been hot and humid and the DA has been bad here in VA. Still mph was not bad for the DA. You`ll drop like a rock in good fall air. Traction is a must though...Good times!

I built the 5.0 equivalent of my 2SS no RS, only added gears, included the optional Brembos for equivalency, 5.0 cost 5 grand more.

Wow, you mustang guys are incredible. You come to the Camaro site and heckel any statement , true or false, that isn't saying our cars are crap and the Mustang is flawless and less expensive.
Yeah, I know you will cry about this one too. All the guy said is he built a mustang with the same options as his SS and what he saw. I guess that makes him a liar, huh? Get off it guys! This should be a friendly site, if that's too much to ask.... leave.

He did not do that because he would be proved a liar then. We all know the Mustang GT and Camaro SS are priced very similar to each other. The Mustang, however, has a longer options list compared to the Camaro. The Mustang GT gives you the ability to have regular or track oriented brakes, 3 gearing options with a manual transmission, a backup camera, a screen based NAV system. The Camaro has none of that optional. |

ok .. I have a question so please educate me
![]() So if the 5.0 and LS3 make similar numbers on the dyno, and latest one seen was identical hp and 10 lbs /torque diff (peak). I realise that our LS3 make more torque lower in the rev range however.. my question is.... with the gearing offered in the mustang would it feel as strong in the bottom as the LS3 or more perhaps? I know gearing makes a big difference but as it stands now will the 5.0 feel faster and more of a push in the seat to the average joe ? just curious |
