That's the point I was trying to make, and the point of the person I was quoting. It's called sarcasm.

idk if sum1 said this already... but in the magazine HH (Heavy Hitters) a man out-performed the Bugatti Veyron in a Ford Gt in the standing mile. He got 253 mph while the Bugatti got to 250, only it took it 5 miles! While a stock Gt wouldnt perform like this it goes to show that Bugattis arent everything! And that its more about the amount of go-go juice and mods you put in it :P

Im sure if you had a 50 mile stretch the Buggati would still outperform it, but still..... you get what the point is

Edit:

Also, +1 to whoever commented that the Bugatti has the nicest luxury insides you can imagine, since thats the point of about 99.999% of cars out on the market, fast and luxurious (well at least for expensive performance/luxury cars)

Guys, I apologize...I think this has gotten outta hand. My poor use of the english language has been misunderstood and that is my fault.
Sorry for starting all this in the first place. Seriously, forgive my stupidity. It started when I saw a thread on "The fastest V6 Camaro so far"....so I googled fastest V6 and saw the top 10 fastest cars. To my surprise at number 6 was a 6 cylinder Jaguar. I was also surprised to see an American made car listed at the top....and a V8 chevy was mentioned. I just thought it was cool and maybe others would like to know. Sorry if I came off too strong. I'm picking up my marbles (what few I have left) and going home.
Maybe I should contact a moderator to delete this thread.....

The guy you talk about in HH mag has already been beat. The new record is held by the Heffner Ford GT at 266.93 mph.

When you said he got 253 mph I thought you meant the record was broken by this guy.
