JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MIKE
 I can hardly type, I am so upset and sad.... I barely recognized Mike's voice and could barely hear him....he is so sick and so weak..............:( He saw the transplant doctor this week and he still has many more tests coming up before he knows if he can even have the transplant...  He feels worse since he is home...he is losing weight and dehydrated and I am soooooo worried sick about him... He is also starting to 'give up', which is not a good sign....all along he has been a fighter, but I think the 'fight' is leaving him.... I told him, yet again, that I have everyone I know praying for him every single day...I have my own family and friends praying, I have all of you on C5 praying, I have my facebook family and friends praying, and I am 'praying my heart out' for him daily............ I hope he makes it....I lost touch with him for over 20 yrs and then we finally re-connect, I buy my 'HWAY STR' from him, and I cannot bear to lose him now.... Thanks for 'listening' to me, and thanks again for all the prayers for Mike and the love and support for me supporting Mike as best I can...you guys/gals are the best medicine for a very sad and worried "prima"Donna..... I will continue calling him and updating you when I do... |

I am very sad he's not doing well and seems to be giving up :( . I know that's not easy to deal with when it's someone you love.
We will all keep praying and sending all the we have that Mike gets better and keeps his spirits up -- I guess he needs more then prayers for getting better now - he needs us to pray he find the will in him to keep fighting and make it through!! Your Camaro 5 family will keep sending out all the warm fuzzy vibes Donna! Never fear (Camaro 5 is here  )!!

Donna I am so sorry to hear that. I will keep hoping and praying for Mike and you! Everyone in Mikes situation needs someone pulling for them and keeping them going and I just bet its you!

"Prima" Donna my thoughts and prayers are with you and Mike. I know what you are feeling right now. I had a sister that had cancer and fought for eight years before the good Lord took her on 3/1/09.
Keep a positive attitude when you talk to Mike. It will help him. God Bless You both!!! |

I am pushing Mike to keep fighting and he is thankful for everyone's prayers...I sent him the link to this thread, however he is too weak right now to go on the computer...he sounded so frail and weak on the phone yesterday that it was all I could do not to cry right on the phone in front of him...I held it in until I hung up, and then was hysterical...I came right on here to post the update, before I would be unable to see through my tears.....
