Cash is rag based as an anti-counterfeit thing..

Smart man. You don't want to put it in the microwave either, it has a type of metal in it and it will burn.. One of my staff tried that several years ago when they thought that the microwave would dry the parking cashiers currency. I'm telling ya, there are some pretty good counterfeits out there too. We always get those around the holidays..
