Hm..

Considering I could buy two 2011 GT500's with the SVT pack on both and the TVS blower on both and still have 4,000 to spare for the price of one Corvette ZR1..

Then I would have two cars that will kick 90% of street cars to the trailer at the strip and send the Z06 and Corvette GS home from the track..

OK, I quoted you earlier, but now I am replying to you. Who would you like to visit a vs. section on a Camaro forum? Would you like it if it was just Camaro owners here stroking each others egos? Because the way I see it, the people here are generally "car" enthusiasts interested in more than just the Camaro.

Kind of makes the post you have in the 5th gen section on karma kind or ironic, no?

Don't forget about the driver mod. It probably is the most important mod and from my experience, the majority of people are not good drag racers.

the thing I don't get is they kept saying the shelby had more power... but when they showed the numbers.. they both said 1000 hp????

don't make any sense.... I mean, of course for things like the standing mile HP is the winner every time

i bet the Shelby had more torque cus it ws SC and not TC. SC do make more torque right?
Camarorss350: with that slight of an incline i thought he couldve pulled off a better launch. it doesnt bother me that much seeing as how the Vette won anyways
