Probably not. A lot of dealers will post ads on sites like that with either really high or really low prices so that the car will come up near the top of the list depending on whether you search price high to low or low to high.

Manual with supercharger and oil cooler, but with light weight Forgeline wheels and headers to reduce weight. Then we add CTS-V brakes with larger calipers and add a bit more and so on...

No way I would pay that much for a Mustang. What a ripoff.

See, I'm not sure about this. My thinking is it is like putting a person on a horse. If one horse weighs 1200 lbs and one weighs 1000, adding a 120 lb person is only a 10% increase to what the big one's used to, while on the smaller animal the 120lbs is a greater percentage of his body weight and should affect him differently. If the area under the curve of the Camaro is greater than that of the Mustang, an additional person would affect the Camaro less.

If I'm right about the curve thing, this would be an argument in favor of the Camaro as a better street car.

The area under the USABLE curve is what you need to be concerned with. Both cars produce very similar power (what matters) in the usable rpm range when WOT. The weight will effect them the same way. Your idea would make sense, but you have to keep in mind that the horses in question are putting down the same force to the ground.
