I had ordered a 22c. When i went to pick it up, i saw it was still a gen 3. I guess glock isn't aming the c version after this year anymore. The Gen 4 with the new recoil spring, has less recoil than a 22c.

So I swapped and got a gen 4 22 in .40 s&w.

The new texturing is much grippier, especially with gloves in the winter time here. The changeable back straps seem kinda cheese ball, but i like the slim one so I don't have to mess with those.

if you are left handed, the mag release can be changed to the other side. But if you do that, you have to use gen 4 mags only. if you are a righty, you can use gen 3 mags also.

Yeah, Im a righty so it doesn't matter.

I was just replacing my other glock 22c. it's 8 years old and has seen maybe 8,000 roundsish.

I'll let you know when I get to shoot it, how it feels.

wow, that's a lot... I think I've put around 3,500 rounds through my .22... that's the most out of anything I've owned. I've shot maybe 30-35 in my .50... its just too hard to find a place to shoot it...

You need to start using the cruise control and sticking your feet out the T-tops.
