Based on the email I think he plans on ignoring any email that does not have an Alabama address Which doesn't surprise me--If you listen to him for a few minutes you quickly realize he does not have the entire country in mind....

Well, theoretically, he's not supposed to. He's Alabama's Senator...but he's got a decent amount of influence in Congress...coupled with a big mouth. It would be nice if he could look beyond the borders of the state, though...

You're correct...He was elected to represent Alabama first, but as an American this should not be at the detriment of the entire country. Also, while Alabama would not be the hardest hit area it would not be immune to the domino effect that would happen...

It is nice that you are taking the interest of Americans seriously, at least only the ones in Alabama. Don't worry, your state will be fine with all of the foreign auto manufactures there.

Wake up and do the right thing and support the American auto industry. You need to look at the facts that the Big 3 have made great strides in all areas of the industry. People buy GM, Fords, and Chrysler's. I myself have 2 GM's and a Chrysler. So quit saying they need to build cars people want. They do and I hope they continue to do so, not that you really care though.
