I didn't realize what jacket I brought til I got in and sat in the bleachers and thought about it for a second.

does yours have ACS or whatever they called it? Cut it off, revv it up and dump the clutch... if you can't do that. . If I could light up the tires in a 189hp I4 Mini Cooper.... you better be able to do it in a Trans Am.

lol, I mastered the burnout before I mastered driving stick. I didn't stall much, I just roasted them out of every traffic light. I'm actually glad my camaro doesn't have any TC or SC on it. I like to drive, not the car drive me. Mine does had the sensor that lights up on the dash though to tell you that the wheels are spinning. I call it the fun light.... everytime it comes on... I'm having fun

TCS off, animal mode engaged.. no dice. I doubt there's something else in there preventing wheel spin if TCS is OFF so blarg..

I stalled a few times (mostly because I had the clutch engaged so slightly to roll the car that a twitch dumped it and stalled the car) but never really tried to lay a patch until tonight.

Point and laugh all you like but hey; my first stick and I never had formal instructions in any way on "Hao doz I lay patch?"

I thought that Mini's were actually fairly comfortable for taller people. Well, the new Mini's anyway.

I have that light too, and yeah it is fun to get it to turn on. Bow down before my 175 hp of Ram Air fury!

well, its not that bad once you get in it... its getting in that's the problem. I had the front seat literally touching the back seat. The one I drove was the CooperS and it was supercharged. I did not know that til I got on it a little and around 4500rpm's I heard it start to whine and thought maybe I was hearing something... I pulled over and popped the hood and ... there's a supercharger under there!
