UPDATE ON MIKE'S CONDITION
I finally was able to speak with Mike today...the last 2 times I tried calling, I just got his voicemail and he didn't call me back, so I was afraid he was worse...
He did sound much weaker than when I last spoke to him 10 days ago... He is going home from the hospital tomorrow after being there since July 1st...he will still need a nurse to come to his house everyday to check on him... He is still weak and in a lot of pain...he has lost a lot of weight, and he cannot afford to lose any as it is... He is on a transplant list and has an appt with the transplant dr on Aug 3rd... He says thanks for everyone's prayers, but please continue, because he needs all the prayers he can get... He is still fighting to get well... Thank you all for your prayers and concerns for my dear friend... |

When he gets strong enough to get on his computer, I told him that I would email him this thread that I started about him... Then he can read for himself all the caring and kind comments and prayers for him, just a regular guy who is my best friend and someone that all of you have never met...

great to hear that Mike will be able to come home from the hospital. I think that will help wonders, just being outta the confinement of a hospital bed. We will all still have Mike in our thoughts... |

That's great that he can go home!! I'll keep praying for him that he gets the necessary transplant and gets well! Hopefully he will put some weight back on now that he is home and can eat good, non hospital food

Glad to hear Mike's getting to go home but sad that he needs a transplant :(
I will keep sending well wishes his way and hope he doesn't have to wait long! Here's hoping he keeps getting better! |
