A year, give or take about 6 months. Could be early 2011, could be late 2011. But 2012 MY is sometime in 2011.

HArd to say how much it will be, the gt500 jumped like 5 or 6 grand this year. Local dealer has one for 57,700 which is msrp.

As for the GT500, are you sure that wasn't just dealer markup?

I'm skeptical that GM would put an LS9 under the hood of the Z28, partly because of cost and partly because this is already going to compete with the Z06 a little for sales, they definitely won't want it competing with the ZR1. The corvette has to remain the top dog.

But, I will admit that GM releasing the LS9 intake kit is a bit of a shocker for me. It almost seems like they're getting ready to bring out the LS9 in the Z28 and want the SS owners to be able to "upgrade" their SS to a Z28, in a way.

Honestly, my vote would have to go towards it being either an LSA or a slightly up-tuned LSA. I'd guess somewhere between the current LSA numbers and maybe 575 horses.
