Thinking of replacing my shorties with ARH long tubes. It's 5 years before I have to worry about having a smog test done.

my buddy has a smith .38 from 1964 that hasn't been fired. I thought that was old. But from WWII, holy shit.

My grandpa will be 91 in september. Hearing him talk about that stuff is pretty cool. He still remembers everything as if it was yesterday. They gave him a sword for an award he got and he had a typed letter that allowed him to carry it on the ship back to America. He said one of the last days in Japan they ran into a warehouse full of brand new weapons. He grabbed a rifle, a sword and headed to the office. They put the letter back in the typewriter and added a S to swords and added "and rifle" to the end. He's still got the letter. Its amazing the stuff you could get away with back then.

I'm leaning more to F/I now. to do the head and cam swap I wanted to do was going to be much more costly in labor than having a blower installed. I'm thinking a Whipple is in my future. Hoping....

yup.

hell when i was a kid, not long ago, (1997), we used to go duck hunting before school. we would just leave our guns etc in our trucks and go to class. Everybody, including the teachers knew we went out and no one gave a damn.

hell even saying you have a gun at a school now will get you suspended for a week, and maybe arrested.
