Just like the Pontiac's of today, it looks just like all the other BMW's.
which isn't necessarily bad. it just isn't unique.
Camaro = Unique.
therefore the camaro, imho, looks tons better then BMW's.
the front facia of both Pontiac's and BMW's are way overdone.
I realize unique isn't always better, but in this case it definitely is.

My take on BMW 3 series vehicles is that they've lost a little something every time they've grown. The 1 series is about the size of a 3 series 15 years ago and I like the 1 series much better because of it.

The BMW is a sharp looking car, but it's sharp looking the way a nice suit is sharp looking. You think 'nice suit' and you don't give it a second thought.

BMW's are clearly competent cars though so I don't begrudge someone for liking them over a Camaro. I get upset when you get to the 'car-as-appliance' segment of the market. No one gets emotionally invested in a Camry so why would you choose a Camry over it's American Counterpart.

Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

i've driven many. i find their standard cars overrefined and underpowered when without turbos. that said i don't like the power delivery of their turbo cars, it seems a bit pedestrian to me. the M cars are a different story but they are out of my price range and i'd rather go high end domestic if i'm spending that kind of money

what model/year.

sounds to me, if your telling the truth, you drove older base model cars.

yes and like i said, it feels over-refined. the M cars are the only ones that offer me a more visceral driving experience, but as mentioned they are pricey and for the money i'd rather own a higher end domestic like, for example, an LS3 corvette

it probably feels over refined because you drive a mustang, maybe the roughest-around-the-edges car in existance.

The M's are great cars, honestly i preffer AMG's to M's. but as far as the 335i's go they are amazing cars with amazing upside.

335i+chip = 400+hp 400+ftlbs at only 3400lbs. AKA faster than an M3.

As for the corvette... amazing car. 2 seats. the 335i's combine performance with practicality.
