Archrival Picture - First Gen.

I wasn't sure if I should post these pictures. But I took these pictures to send to my friend as I thought it was her car. If it bothers anyone you can make out the tip of my Camaro at the very end of the row of cars in the first picture. There wasn't an open spot to park next to "Lucy"

Now, how do you tell if it is a 65 or a 66 Mustang though? I could tell it was a GT by the fog lights in the grill.

Very nice! LOVE the older muscle cars..no matter make or model!?
And as for the difference, this link might answer that question:

It gets tricky given the age of the cars in question since so many things can be changed over time.

Back up lights were an option in 65, so if a car doesn't have them then typically you now it is a 65. Since this car does have them it could be a 65 or a 66 model is that is all we are using to determine a difference. Luckily, there is another way.

The other tell-tale difference is the c-scoop trim on cars that have this feature. On a 65 the trim is shaped more or less like the scoop and looks more or less like one big, chrome scallop. On a 66 the factory c-scoop chrome is one piece, but the shape is different with 3 very noticeable horizontal trim pieces that divide up the scoop.

From the looks of this one it appears to be the trim from a 65 model, but even with that we are trusting that the guy didn't add this stuff himself which is pretty common. There are a lot of non GT cars wearing GT trim these days.
