that's fast, I hope they are just hard enough on you to learn your lesson, No more, No less. The problem is, it is hard to say what will teach you a lesson (in the judges eyes).. For you it may be the fear of losing your license.. For someone else, they may need a huge fine and suspension. I don't know your personally, and I can guess that it isn't an easy job for a judge to meet someone for 10 minutes and know what is needed to make a difference.

Good luck.. I would probably say at very least be prepared to be put on a driving probation (another ticket and bye bye license)--- But you may loose them for 30-60 days (maybe more)

I got a $750 fine and 30 days suspended jail time in VA while driving a Hyundai Tiburon . I was found guilty of going 95 in a 65. I even showed up to court with a lawyer and in full Air Force dress uniform. The judge had no mercy.

Good luck and get a lawyer.

Anyone under the age of 25 is looked down upon by the vast majority, and you can't have fun with this car. Majority of posts are "what do you hang in your camaro," or "how do I know if I have an L99 or LS3?" I've been here since I got my camaro and have sadly started to hate the whole 5th gen community as a whole. Don't get me wrong, lots of you are cool, and have my respect, but mustang owners and fbody owners in general are a lot cooler. Lots of you remind me of GTO owners.

If we're bothering you so much then why don't you leave the forums after you're done being suspended.

Robb:: don't sweat it man. You'll get some punishment, but just tell the truth and you won't get the worst of it.

I can honestly say im guilty of speeding each day. Not just cause of the car but just because of poor driving habits.

Looked at speedo today several times and noticed i was doing 120km in a 80 and 110km in a 50....... Both would have gotten my nutsac kicked in if caught.
Do i think those speeds are dangerous...........not at all. In a school bus maybe but not in a performance camaro or any other higher end car. Still dont mean its ok either.

Getting burnt sucks but it happens. I said before in this thread. Tickets are a fact of driving. You just gota suck er up and move on.

Let me just say this... I was NOT speeding past the store where the cop was! I did not see him even though he was pulling out regardless. I don't know of any kids to be out on a Sunday morning playing in the street... Not that it's not possible. Secondly I was not looking for sympathy from anyone, but was looking for advice because I've never got caught speeding for one that fast and to be in the zone I was in. Who the hell said I was in a school zone? I've got common damn sense not to do that around kids let alone anyone. But anyways I learned my lesson and I would like for you guys to get along and maybe point me in the right direction... Without the smartass comments. I don't deserve jail time... That was uncalled for! But thanks for the helpful input

Not to stir up any silliness... I see the guy was suspended here... but for the record, I do drive the best car in the world. The 2010 Camaro is the single greatest current generation car on the road. Period.

I can't believe I missed this post. You have the audacity to call a guy out for only being here "like a month" when you've only been here for four months?

Seriously, I've been here for over two years and I don't even consider myself a long time member.

For that you'd have to look to people like Tag, Spike, Dragoneye, etc. Hopefully your "break" will cool your head a bit.

When you get a summons its usually pretty expensive. When I got mine it was the option of a fine and license suspension or the option to use Accelerated Rehabilitation. I went with the Accelerated Rehabilitation. I brought a lawyer with me and he wasn't able to do a thing about it.

i'm just curious as to how the cop nailed you for 94mph if you weren't speeding next to the store, where the cop was?
