You should by a '76 AMC Pacer for your driver and put the Camaro in storage. big windows, good visibility, looks like a turtle on wheels. Vandalizm? who cares. hit a tree? whoops, sorry tree. Starts on fire? break out the marshmellows and make smores.

You obviously have no idea how much these guys get paid while they spend a year in Iraq.

Not saying hes telling the truth, but you should see the cars that drive around the army base i work on.

Im an Army Officer thats been to Iraq and in Afghanistan right now, we dont make that much. If your married like me its and extra 575 a month, not married is only 300 something, then no taxes except SS and medicare. There is some extra pay here and there, and if somebody re-ups they might get a descent bonus, but overall its lnot ike we take home an extra thousands a month.

Wow you lucky dogs... I think we got something like $175 at most for combat zone pay in the Marines. Of course I was married at the time so I got a little extra for housing but it was used by my wife. I have a great job and I barely could afford this car let alone a $100,000 one! Haha.

well its i cant remember the exact breakdown, but its 250 for Family seperation pay so you have to be married or have a kid. Then there is a 100 for hostile fire pay then the rest is combat zone, either way 575 a month is max, unless youre getting like Jump pay or something weird here or there. So 575 times 12 is only like an extra 6 grand for the year, worth it, probably NOT.

Good luck.

Maybe he saves and doesn't spend his HARD earned money on ALCOHOL, DRUGS, and FOOLISH things. People who DO the WRONG things WASTE hundreds a MONTH on Drugs and Alcohol, then COMPLAIN how they CAN'T afford a nice car.

I worked with people like this. They bought CRAP out of the vending machines, probably $100 a month, they drink beer everyday, probably $200 or MORE a month, and some smoked POT, probably another $200 a month EASILY.

To think some people spend so FOOLISHLY then complain they can't AFFORD a new Camaro SS. Makes me SICK.

Sorry, I just HAD TO point this out. I have helped OPEN friends EYES to how much they WASTE on CRAP every month.

Sorry to hear about your losses.

I hear you i have friends like that too, that complain about not having money. But yet go to the gas station and spend 10 bucks every morning on pop and snacks, which with simple beer math is 200 bucks a month. Either way somebody in the army having 150 Hard ones in cars, I dont think so unless hes getting outside help. Either way sounds like he needs to be more careful, and theres no reason to point out dollar value like that, its low class.

AHHH... I got it now that's why I couldn't afford the SS. All those damned hookers, booze, and lines of coke. You know... I thought I'd be good after I bought that brick off of that guy in the alleyway.
