Crown Vic vs. Grand Marquis

If you think that's how similar the G37 and 370z are, then on you. These two are literally the same car, just rebadged

Im embarassed to actually argue about this, as its a complete lack of logic by some of you.

Camaro and trans am differences

hood, mirrors, wheels, interior, front fasica, rear bumper, door skins.

g37 and 370z difference

hood, mirrors, wheels, interior, front fasica, rear bumper, door skins.

actually I think the mirros may be the same.

The differences between a g37 and a 370z are no different than between a 2009 mustang and a 2010 mustang.
We're only talking about looks. And if you think they look alike because they share many of the same performance components, then I guess a g8 gxp looks just like a camaro ss

Again, its like saying the camaro and firebird are not similar.
You're using logic here. It would be a better use of your time to debate this topic with your mailbox.

Last I knew, hood, wheels, mirror, front fascia, rear bumper would be part of the looks. Seriously, the cars look very similar.

Well, the G37 Coupe is longer, narrower, taller, and heavier than the 370Z and doesn't appear to share any exterior sheet metal. The Infinity features smoother body lines vs the Nissan's more aggressive looks. In profile, the 370Z has a shape quite similar to a 911 with the rather sharp angle between the windshield and roof, plus the complete lack of a trunk (though with less overhang front and rear than a 911). Meanwhile the G37 has a more traditional coupe profile.

Do they share a platform? Yes. But that doesn't mean they have to look the same.

why are you so upset? The fact that you think the G37, a 2+2 Seater looks like a 2 seater with a short wheelbase made me think you were being sarcastic. The fact that you're actually serious is the funny part.

On what planet do these two cars look the same?

Fastback with unique and unusual flat slanting roof:

Generic 2+2 Coupe shape:

Radicalized Boy racerish lights and single grille

Typical premium coupe front fascia (lower and upper grille, with luxury styling on upper grille):

The more people argue that they look alike, the more it's obvious that people are just trolling for the sake of it.

Ditto... I like the looks of the 350 better than the redesigned 370 as well. I can't put my finger on why?

Good examples of cars that don't look the same, yet are based on the same platform and are quite similar under the skin.
