No way, the concept had some style to it. This looks like a Prius with the face of a Tahoe. It's that same Beluga whale shape that Toyota has been doing for years.

Would you rather pay $1,000,000 for a Volt Concept replica that was little more than a gussied up science project or ~$40,000 for a production Volt where everything actually works? I know what I'd rather do ...

I look forward to seeing the production Volt. It might not look as cool as the concept, but we all should remember how spoiled we are by a perfect Camaro concept in our garages. We can't expect that the same is possible for every product, especially when GM has so much work to do on the powertrain besides the appearance package. On the Camaro, the suspension was mostly complete and the powerplant already assembled. The Volt is a fresh concept with almost no basis in any production vehicles to date.

The concept had style but was completely wrong for this type of vehicle. No beneficial aero properties whatsoever.

< still wants the 98ish ws6 with a huge cam. It was so loud. People thought they were cool revving their engines, that stopped them.
