Cars.com puts camaro w/vette and viper. Mustang with civic and mini cooper.

Cars.com lists the Camaro (both 2010 and 2011) with the "New High Performance Sports Cars"- featuring cars such as the Corvette, Viper, Porsches, Nissan GT-R, BMW M3, 5, and 6.

To many camaro owners delight, the Mustangs do not fall on this list- instead the Mustangs fall under "New Sport Two-Doors" . Both the 2010 and the 2011 fall on this list. Other cars do include the Civic, Mini Cooper, Eclipse, Scion tC.

There are some notable cars on the Mustangs list, including the Challenger.. (yes, even the Challenger is on this list), the BMW 650, the Hyundai Genesis, and the Tesla Roadster.

I guess I'm amused because this isnt an article... a comparison... or anything like that, someone (or some group) went through the cars and evaluated the performance of the Camaro to be in the same group as other high performance cars.

while the GT500 is on the sport 2 door car list along with the Z4 and Audi TTS (cayman is on the other list)

I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
