I've driven one while car shoping . . . does that count? However, I'm never going to own one. For what it they are, cobalts aren't bad and the SS's are pretty fast. But they just aren't 'me'

I am trying to convince my wife I need to buy a 06 SS/SC since I just blew the dummy shaft on my Monte Carlo and don't feel like spending the time or the over 2K to fix it. So hopefully with any luck I will be driving one in about a week or two

You'll find plenty of them for sale, and the re-sale value on them sorta sucks, so you'll be able to find a nice one with probably anywhere up to like 36k miles for like 12k or something....

I am actually looking at one with 35K for 12900 out the door. I may try and talk him alittle lower but it started out at 15988 so I may not push my luck.

08 SS/TC here
I bought a 08 SS in August. Knew my Z/24 wouldn't last till my loan on the 5th gen Camaro was paid. I need a daily driver since I don't plan on drivig the new Camaro in bad weather. I have a 67 RS/SS and a 98 SS also and they stay in the garage except for nice weather or car shows. I have the luxury of a 4X4 truck for bad weather in the winter.
One complaint, can anyone see out of their Cobalt? I never test drove the car since I knew I wanted it and had a dealer trade me one. The rear deck is so high and my low spoiler is right there so that I can't see out the rear and the quarter windows are so small. Sometimes in town changing lanes is very dificult. |

It is and I take it you have the high rise spoiler? There is a bit of a blind spot, just make sure you look a little harder, many times have I merged to find a car in the next lane honking at me! whoops...

No, I have the small spoiler but it seems to be right in the way of the rearview mirror.
