Luckily I'm on the atlantic side so it has had no impact... But I feel for the gulf coast.... and hurricanes are on the way.....

Some people on this site are absolutely horrible.

At GMI we have a rule against topics that may encourage illegal behavior, including destruction of other people's pets.

Apparently Camaro5 is lacking such a rule. Pity.

Hey Fen:
I know it's no consolation, but both my labradors are indoor dogs (65 lb and an 80 lb). As well as my cats. Just picked up my 8 week old adopted kitten yesterday (Hobbes [orange and white tabby]) - he was thrown out a moving car window. He's ok, I think..

Oh, a trooper here in NC was FIRED just in the last month or two from his job for shooting his neighbors 5-month old kitten who "strayed" into his yard. Claims it was attacking him. He also faced charges, fines and jail time.

Our neighbor has 5 cats that are allowed to roam....

Man it is frustrating at times, they like to walk by our windows and get our cats and dogs riled up... Man is it infuriating... Especially around bed time when the kids are asleep...

I have two cats and two coon hounds.... all of which are indoor animals.

Luckily my Camaro stays in the garage and we don't really care if they are on the Tahoe... but when they hiss and swipe at you when you shoo them off the hood.... it really tests my patience.... so here's the bummer... They have 3 little kids who just love the cats so I cant bring myself to call animal control..... Frustrating... All of our animals are from shelters also.

That trooper is sick in the head! How can a 5 month old cat attack a human? I've had cats almost all my life, they want to play, they don't attack.
He deserves worse than what he got.

Oh and Lori congrats on your new arrival! How does he fair with the dogs?
