Help me out hoes. I need tires soon and I'm rolling on stock 16's with 245's. Thinking about buying some 02 Camaro SS wheels off a dude from the intarwebz for $500 shipped. Should I pull the trigger? Four wheels and tires (275's) with decent tread, plus a spare rim. Whatchu think?

They look nice Brando, but your car looks fine with stock wheels.

I say go for it bro! Sounds like a deal to me and I like a little wider tire.

I think it looks alright as-is, but I'm interested in the wider tires for traction. Pricing it out, I'll be spending 4-500 for new tires on the stock rims. For $500, I can buy these with tires that'll last another year/year and a half. By that time I might be ready to trade up to the fifthgen.

Totally killer deal! How does that tread depth look to you?

Looks ok as long as you aren't someone that lights the tires up every chance you get. What kind of tires? Are they soft like the stock 5th Gen Pirelli or can you expect better wear from them?

They're decent tires--Hankook Ventus. Kind of an economical performance tire, like kumho exctas or fuzions. They're soft, but not as soft as yours. They're summer tires, so I think I'd get maybe another year out of them.

I say go for it then. That's a hell of a deal and would be hard to pass up.
