I find that blasting Metal usually drowns out (then contributes to) any ringing I may have.

Nick is right...no time to fool around with your hearing...I have had problems with mine, so I don't ever take it for granted...
Make sure to get it checked out...it's also good to have a hearing test every few years too...

I have tinnitus in my right ear, so I always hear a hissing sound in that ear...:(
I actually had my middle ear stapes bone replaced a few years ago, because it was non-functioning and I became deaf in that ear...they replaced the actual bone with a teflon replica and my hearing was restored to normal...the bones in the middle ear are the smallest bones in the entire human body, so it was micro-surgery...

That's your science lesson for today, folks...lol...

Now back to your regularly scheduled C5 viewing and PWing....lol....

thanks guys...yes, I am all better...what a miracle surgery I was blessed to have...it was no picnic, however...very painful, and I developed a massive infection in that ear after the surgery...OUCH, OUCH, OUCH...
Thankfully, I recovered and can now hear again!!!...I had to re-learn how to tell what direction sounds or voices were coming from...it was also strange to hear myself talking 'outside my head' again...you know the feeling when your ear is stuffed up and you hear yourself talking 'inside your head' and how annoying that is??...well, that's the way I was hearing for so many years, that after the surgery when I spoke, my voice sounded so weird TO ME, yet it was the same voice I always had, I just wasn't hearing it until I got my ear fixed...
I count my blessings every single day...before the surgery, if I covered that ear, it was just like pressing the mute button on the tv...and being in a crowd of people, it was impossible to follow what people were saying...it was embarrassing to keep asking people to repeat themselves...after awhile I would just nod and smile...and at home, everyone kept getting annoyed at me for having to keep repeating what they were saying, so if I didn't hear them after the first 2 tries, I just gave up...
Now, they sometimes forget that I can hear them, so if they mumble something under their breath about me, I can hear what they think I can't...'busted'...lol...
