The Viper is at the top of my list for toy vehicles. If I'm not driving it every day, I'd rather have one over a Corvette.

As for it going away, its only temporary. They had the new generation nearly ready to go but it got delayed because of the cash crunch at Chrysler. Work had begun back when they were with Daimler and its German cousin is already out, the Mercedes SLS AMG (aka Gullwing II)

The Viper is a blast to drive, but I wouldn't want to live with one.

I'm fully aware that the viper isn't a car focused on electronics or sound systems, but geez thats the same radio I had in my 01 grand cherokee..

If I bought this car I wouldn't care though.

The SRT drives like a normal car. The RT is a different car and will rattle your fillings out. I had a 95 RT/10 Hennessey Venom and I can tell you it was ONE SICK RIDE!!

Thats actually surprising. I'd have guessed the Viper's radio would date back to the mid 90's. Its more modern than I thought.

The Viper is way too powerful for its build. The Corvette is a little less primitive while still maintaining that fun-to-drive characteristic that some international vehicles don't have.

Apex Paul has one and its a blast. It definitely draws more attention than a Corvette.

I had just started college when the Viper first came out. I knew right then that I'd own one someday. The blue/white GTS came out in 1996 and was my dream car for a very long time. I now own a 2006 blue/white SRT-10 coupe with a supercharger.

While not as comfy as the C6 Corvette, it absolutely gives me more thrills to drive and look at. It is a completely different driving experience. My 2009 Z06 feels docile compared to the Viper. If I had to keep only one, it would be the Viper.
