this is a tough call . I'm not sure if the threadstarter came in looking to ruffle some feathers..some of the responses corrected him and weren't exactly all crazy about the mustang and then the threadstarter kind of exxagerated the butt hurt aspect of it

so far its an interesting discussion but i don't see a need to get angry, we all have our favorites and i'm sure we all respect all muscle cars and american performance cars

I think it's interesting that someone who owns both a Camaro and a Mustang would make their default pic a Mustang rather a Camaro on a Camaro dedicated forum.

I'm not a brand loyalist, so I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for posting it. I believe that us Camaro owners owe some thanks to the Mustang and the Challenger. These three vehicles are currently trying to better the other, and us as a consumer are going to win because of healthy competition.

I was just wondering what kind of job I would need to have to be able to afford the payments on over 70 K in fun cars.

....and for that much money spent, ....just out of curiosity;............ why didn't you just buy a Vette and be able to stomp the guts out of the G/T SS and the G/T 500 ?

And... How old are you? If you say your dad said the camaro was slow and unreliable back in the day, you can't be incredibly old either.

thats not a quote of mine thats a venom quote read the tread again....I'm 45...and a refrigeration tech for a major soft drink company...... bought all my own shit ..been married for 24 years ...and my 75 yr old dad doesn't like the Camaro. but not because it is "slow and unreliable"..he was always a Chevelle guy ..Said he always loved the big block torque..when I took the Camaro down for him to look at he asked me "if ya wanted a Vette why didn't you go buy one"..He did like it when I caught third at almost 90mph.........I love that man and only hope that when I die people think that I was at least half the man he is..

I love old Mustangs. A 64.5 with a 302 would make me quite happy. While Mustang is our stiffest competition, much

to it. It was the original PonyCar, and is still my 2nd choice after Camaro. And Corvette. And Chevelle. And Firebird. And a 68 Cougar.
