Handling and an LS7. With as much weight removed as reasonably possible. With wider, lighter wheels. And more aggressive gearing.

Thats what I'd rather see, but I expect to see something somewhat different than that.

What are your expectations then?

Would you advise me to go with the 3.73 gear swap I plan since you
mentioned more aggressive gearing?

3.73's should wake up your car a bit, particularly if you have an auto.
