They did a pretty good job with that. Odds are, Porsche will eventually cave in

For me, a matchup wouldn't really prove anything. I know both Porsches and Minis are some of the best handling cars out there, and they each have their own attractive qualities. I guess Mini just wants to show the average consumer that a Mini is not just an ecocar
They aren't that economical ... the cars aren't exactly cheap and they require premium gas. Styling and being fun to drive are much bigger reasons for why people buy them.

Yep........2 of my coworker are 6'3" and 6'5" and they both have these cars. Why? They always have had tiny cars from MR2s to Celicas, so this is what they are used to and they love how the cars handle, I like them too. Its just not my style.

Yea, I know they aren't ecocars. My sister drives one, and I'm already aware of the premium gas and the fun-to-drive persona. But to the average consumer who sees this car going down the road, they usually don't really understand what it's about. Most think it's only a quirky ecocar, sort of like scions

Getting silly? It started out silly and is getting more amusing by the day. I mean, Cooper S vs a 911? Really?
