Why do people these days INSIST on dubbing over these sorts of videos with music? I'd much, much, much prefer to hear the noise of the car and stuff going on around the track.

Exactly. They ruined the video with music.

I don't mean to be an ass, but I think you should put someone else in the driver's seat. The trap speeds you are seeing tells me the car is capable of a lot more than a high 13, even if the traps are low for the car. Any slips so we can see the specifics?

My wife had to listen to the embedded music as I watched and she commented that it made her want to slap her own ass.

The suspension under the early S197 cars is much different than what is under the 2011. Considering that I owned a 2005 GT before the GTO, I would agree that the GTO offered a better ride than that car, but we're talking about a 2011 here.

Other than the actual housing, just about everything else (i.e. springs, spring rates, shocks, struts, dampening, sway bars, etc) is completey different and much more refined than what the car had in 2005.

I have driven in both the Mustang and the Camaro that have been both modified and upgraded quite a bit. To me, I would choose the Camaro just for the additional comfort, and back seat room. Plus there are more serious upgrades to the suspension needed on the Mustang as compared to the Camaro to get it to stick.

what?

To get it to stick where? At the dragstrip the SRA is going to be a lot better at putting the power down than the IRS.

LOL, Seriously? There are mustang owners who are honestly defending SRA over IRS for POTHOLES and standard pavement duties? You're really ready to defend your car against over a century of collective automotive knowledge from every manufacturer on the planet?

If that isn't moronic bias over fact, I don't know what is!

Give me the SRA over the IRS any day of the week.

it isn't nearly the teeth chattering ride the camaro owners on here would have you believe.

Now, let's let IPS continue to inform us all with FACTS not opinions.

Oh you mean like pushrod technology? SRA is definitely not better than IRS for certain things, but for others it is and it isn't hardly what some of you want to think - some archaic technology that makes the car ride like shit. Go drive a 2011 mustang and see for yourself. Otherwise it's just assumptions based on what you hear.
