Who ever thought it was a 4G? AT&T does not have a 4G system yet, heard maybe in a year or so. The 4 in iPhone 4 simply means 4th gen. Perhaps the next one will be a 4G, doesn't matter I'll buy whatever comes next too. Ordered my Black 32GB today.

Finally was able to preorder a black 16gb for the wife for home delivery. Now patiently waiting for details on the white model for myself.

how many of you are getting yours on the 24th? they already sold out earlier today. If you order now yours wont SHIP until july 2

Yeah, stinks that I couldn't pre-order the white. So I ordered the black one today. I suppose it doesn't really matter though, as I genralky keep a protective case on mine.

Wife's says the 24th too. I tried to order another 16gb black for myself minutes later but the ship date changed to July 2nd so I said screw it, I'll wait for the white one.

Anyone have any suggestions. I am pissed!

I was the 5th person in the ATT store. I got a "manual" receipt since there system was down. I was there almost 2hrs. Then I get a call at 730pm stating that all the pre-orders are done and it appears my phone will not come in until June 25-July 5th.

Now, each store gets 45 phones... It appears that they HELD my two orders and processed other orders though out the day and did mine at the end.

So, now I have to wait...This is principal and I am very pissed about it!!

Any suggestions...

Indpowr, that blows! When I read that the AT&T stores were taking hand written orders I was afraid some orders would get shuffled. I know it sucks but I would just wait it out. If you cancel and try to re-order now I'm afraid you'll have to wait even longer. Maybe voice your concern to the Manager of the AT&T store. Good luck, keep us in the loop.

Don't forget Best Buy, Wal Mart and Radio Shack are all selling them as well. Wouldn't hurt to try one of them.

All dates are in July now.. its just principal.

I even heard the manager say to the employee that was doing my order when I asked if I could get a second one she stated "just make it happen, you will make more money from it"

So much for customer service now a days. Not the way I run a business.
