I'd buy it for 6 grand, it's about 20 grand too expensive.

I don't understand what the issue is with Honda coming out with a CR-Z. It will sell well, it is no way close to the cr-x, its not as small or as runty. As for reliability, my entire family has Hondas and they have never failed them or myself when I drive them.

I just got the Camaro because its so much more bad ass than those cars

The cr-z is being targeted to the correct market and I will be honest, its a lot better to look at than that stupid Smart car running around here.

This is for people who for the most part want a reliable, efficient car that is not a complete snorefest to drive. Minis sell like hotcakes even though they have no power and are on the more expensive side of small cars, and this car is a hybrid
Minis have a back seat. How is everyone overlooking this? Everyone that competes with this car has a back seat.

the 350Z uses a 3.5liter engine. The 370Z uses a 3.7liter engine. theyre still Z cars though.

thats what i think about when i see a Corvette. Im a much bigger fan of a souped up Camaro then any 84-present Corvette. Theyre mechanically good cars and good performers but like you said, no soul.

I need to correct your rant slightly. Your example of Nissan changing the names on the Z cars because "it is agains the laws of nature to name a new platform the same thing as a previous platform" is incorrect. The names of the Various Z cars was determined by engine displacement.

240Z = 2.4L 6cyl
260Z = 2.6L 6cyl
280Z = 2.8L 6cyl
300Z = 3.0L 6cyl
350Z = 3.5L
370Z = 3.7L

Same for the SX

240SX = 2.4L 4cyl
180SX = 1.8L

That is something I clearly overlooked. I appreciate the correction.

hey guys, i used to say the same thing about hondas until i owned my 90 civic hatch 5 speed econobox that i use as a daily driver. its no speed demon by any means but it is super reliable and actually really fun to drive in the twisties! its a lot like a go-cart.

i even did a few autocrosses with it and finished mid pack in my class with it completly stock! that says something about the car's ability to handle itself in the turns. all it would need is a good set of tires and some suspension work and it would really handle on rails!....oh crap..now i sound like one of those ricer punks!

i personally like the new CR-Z for what it is. a sporty economy car that would make an excellent daily driver and still be somewhat fun.

I have 2 friends with Minis. Hell will freeze over before anyone can fit in that back seat. We are all average height and athletic or slim. No one can sit in that seat comfortably, not even in the touring version one of my neighbors has.

This is exactly what Honda intends for it to be

theres more technology in that CRZ than in your Camaro... i think the exterior isn't as appealing as the interior, but it's purpose built.. that is why Honda wins over 90% of the other brands out there... when they strive to be the best at something, they succeed... now if they can come out with a new coupe to replace the s2k...
