Like down lower like fog lights should be. Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't fog lights be lower than the actual head lights? After all, fog is more dense than air and therefore lies lower to the the ground. Maybe it's just me. Oh, did I mention, the new Mustang's front end looks like it was sat on by that heavy GT500?

Now everytime someone gets out of that gold mustang they are going to throw their hats in the air.
Wow,not only an ignorant Mustang post, but an ignorant TV post as well,if you knew anything, you'd know that was one of the greatest sitcoms in TV history and you'd also know she drove a WHITE Mustang. Jesus Christ, what are you....12 years old, turn off the Hanna Montana and watch some real TV.

And to add to the previous posters comments, Ford does not target "liitle old ladies" with the Mustang, they target "young, professional women". And based on the results, i'd say their marketing team has done a great job! Ford has always targeted that demographic since 1965 and, given its success through the decades, I don't think they should stop.

Stop and think about it. Maybe if GM would have tried to target the same market segment in some way with the Gen 4 Camaro, perhaps it would not have went the way of the dinosaur a few years ago.

I actually know more women 4th gen F-body owners than men, weird. When i was looking at a LS1 Firebird about 10 years ago, there was a white WS6 six-speed Formula in the showroom. The salesman told me that the car was sold and the buyer was a woman in her '70s and she was bringing in her LT1 Trans Am in for a tradeNow that's a bad-ass old woman! My grandmother drives a Lincoln LS

The car is solid, and will sell. These designers and developers aren't stupid, they know the performance is deficient in HP, gearing, suspension, chassis, etc. when compared with the Camaro. However, they're masters at getting this car to all those consumers who wants the name and the style that this car (presumably) will exude. It's all about how these cars will be marketed. If you think about it, the GT is being marketed to a younger deomographic than the SS.

By the way, that gold is sexy.

I think The Camaro SS is superior in many ways like IRS , bigger brakes , more HP , better handling I am tired of waiting for the 5.0L it still won't have IRS till 2012 if at all , and the Mustang will gain weight once it meets the new safety standards it has to and who knows what it will look like in 2012, my mind is made up I am ordering a SS , I like the new styling of the Stang but all it is is a new fascia and interior otherwise same car ,it is inferior to the SS in so many ways and the SS just looks bad ass , with the camaro you get 21 century technology with the Stang you get 60's live axle technology Ford has to get with the times , deep in my heart I have always been a GM guy I owned a 4th gen Trans Am for many years and loved it ,but after they discontinued the Camaro and the Trans Am in 2002 I was forced to buy a Ford since I wanted a new car , I do enjoy my 05 Stang but lets be honest it is primative compared to the Camaro , so I am going back to GM and selling my 05 GT... hail to the KING

Coming from a guy who owned a '06 GTO before I bought my GT500, I can tell you that there really is not that big of a difference in ride and handling between them. Sure, IRS is nice, but for those who like to drag race their cars, it is clearly inferior to a solid axle setup.

the new stang is gonna have to grow on me a lil more. I think it does look nice, and the interior is lovely.

as far as the which is better the stang or fbody....it reminds me of the Playstation VS Saturn...PS2 VS XBOX. In both cases the playstation was inferior to the competition, yet sold more units, because they were marviously advertised.

I pray that GM advertises/markets this car 1000 times better than they did the 4th gen, which as stated before, went the way of the dinosaur. Despite being superior to the competition.

I agree. Good point on the drag racing thing as well.

Have you been sleeping for the last 6 months? - the car has made an appearance in the World Series, starred in it's own TV show, was seen with Fergie laying all over it, and has been the rave of all the auto shows. All months before the production line has even fired up. I'd say they're well above the curve on this one

You're not giving enough credit to the Camaro, dude. This car has been hyped now for about, what, 4-5 years now? I think only the new Gun's and Rose's album was hyped more and took longer to deliver.
