Hey Donna. It's your buddy guiLT here.

As soon as I saw the title and that it was made by you I clicked on this thread ASAP.

You and your son are both troopers. As for your son, he is one strong man. Sometimes we just let our bodies come second when we are working. As for this case here. I am so glad he pulled through. He deserves it. He has big shoes to furfill and he has the head on his shoulders to do it. I would never want him or your family to go though that. He will be in my prayers for months. Me and you are like family, and family members look out for each other.

As for you, oh my, I won't be able to say how I feel about you in just one post. You and me have been through a lot together. And we will be through a lot more in the future. But we will never leave each others sides. Family doesn't do that. You are a Camaro5 legend. And one of my best friends on the site. If anything would happen to you with your sickness, I would be effected as well. Family looks out for each other. I will also pray for you as well. You are strong Donna. Very strong. And you can defeat the sickness. Hope all is well Donna.

-guiLT.

Wow Donna, That's scary. I'm glad you were home. God works in many ways. I'm glad he's going to be o.K. It's very scary when anything happens to our children. Your a great Mom.

It is very serious

"Prima Donnna", I hope your son is doing better and I'm glad he survived that ordeal. Heat Stroke or Exhaustion can be very deadly. I unfortunently had to attend a funeral today of a 22 year old young lady that had a heat stroke last week.

We think of the very young or very old that fall to this silent but deadly attack on our body. Continue to stay vigilant about watching your son and warning others.

Gatorade is not very helpful if you are already dehydrated.

I washed my car today and I'm jut glad I did it early when it was still in the mid 80's and not high 90's.
Very smart, Milk!!!...

I was not supposed to be home, however my son was in the driveway blocking my Camaro in the garage, so I was just going to wait until he was done to go out...I was supposed to go to the cemetery to put flowers on my parents' grave that day, so I am sure they were watching over BOTH of us...

Thank you...you are so nice to say that...and you are right, God DOES work in mysterious ways, even if we don't know the reason at the time...I do believe there are no coincidences in this life, that we are where we are supposed to be for whatever reason...I shudder to think what I would have found when I got home that day if I had already left before Kevin got so sick so fast...

I am sooooooo very sorry for the loss of that 22 yr old young lady...

You are right, the news always says to watch out for the elderly or young babies during a heat alert...who would ever imagine a young, healthy, vibrant young person succumbing to the heat?!...it is a very serious thing to be cautious of...

That is the reason I re-posted this important message today....I hope that those of you that read it will take heed, and also to tell others my story so that these young people will realize that they are NOT invincible...they think that nothing bad will ever happen to them...

As I stated, I was after Kevin the whole time he was out there working in his very hot, black interior, car...I made sure to give him plenty of drinks and he still got so deathly ill anyway...

Thanks for bringing this back up Donna. You are always looking out for us and I for one truly appreciate it. You will always be the "First Lady" of Camaro5.
