this is complete BS I hate AT&T
i bought a iphone 3gs a few months back (had to have one) talked the wife into switching over from centenial and we have droped calls and such all the time but i love the phone the wife even got one. well long story short i hacked the phone and unlocked it (jailbroken) with in my first month of using the phone i had over 1,200,000MB of usage yes that reads one point two million mega bites. i cant aford to be using my phone if there gonna charge per MB I'm just glad i already have a contract with them even though they suck balls
but i love my iphone and would be lost with out it. i use it every day most of the time it goes dead be for the day is over from usage.
i use it as work phone, home phone, gameing system, movie watcher, entertainment device, and much more.

I have seen so many people complain about the Iphone and the phrase, "there's an app for that" is comical at this time. If you have not seen the new Sprint, and feel you want the best phone on paper, and in your hand, you might want to check the new EVO. It is truly a remarkable device.

Most can search for Iphone on here and just check the quality and the apologies most people give when posting a video from their Iphone. It is funny. Also, Sprint will not CAP data on their phone, and you can use it as a mobile hot spot, and when in a 4G area, data speeds are ten times faster than they are on a 3G network.

"Better camera" how? If you're just going by megapixels then you clearly didn't watch the keynote and what Steve was saying about that. As for processor, the A4 rocks; use an iPad for a few moments and imagine that speed in a small phone! The iPhone 4 is a seriously exotic piece of technology; read the info on it at Apple's website before you decide the EVO is "better". And then wait until you see and hold one... Apple is turning into the Star Trek Technology For Real company with the Star Trek Data Pad..er iPad, and now the iPhone 4.

Flash sucks; it's a cpu hog and drains batteries big-time. Apple said they tried Flash in the labs and on an iPad it took the battery life from 10 hours to 1.5 hours. And since Adobe doesn't make a mobile Flash client, there wasn't one available for Apple to support anyways. Steve and Apple doesn't throw a "tizzy fit"; read his letter, that's a logical, well reasoned explanation; not a "tizzy fit". Do you work for Adobe? Then you should know Apple has incorporated Adobe's PDF technology right in their OS, and Steve announced yesterday they're adding it to the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch.

I hated Flash before Steve even mentioned it. In fact so many people hate it and complain about it's performance because it's so slow and crappy that web designers had to start including "skip this" links to avoid their useless adoration for Flash because they can do useless zooming graphics and charge their clients for it.

You didn't have 1.2 TeraBytes of usage. I guarantee that.

You had 1,200,000 KiloBytes of usage which equates to around 1.14GB of usage. No big deal and you would have come NOWHERE close to the 2GB cap on the $25 data plan.

It's impossible to transfer that much data over 3g in a month, even if 2 phones were left downloading at max speed 24/7.

Unless you added an extra , perhaps it said 1,200 MB

I updated my 3GS to the 4.0 Golden Master (Final) last night... gave up my jailbreak for a couple of weeks to play with the new iOS... it is very quick and the new features are nice.

Wow thanks for this warning! Now NO ONE will buy an iphone thanks to you!! Guess Steve Jobs should have consulted with you first before making this terrible mistake, huh!

But seriously... for the vast majority of iPhone users it's going to feel very fast, have beautiful picture quality and be a pleasure to use without any extra AT&T charges. I know that really damages your fantasy of being smug and superior but honestly, tens of millions of iPhone customers won't care.

I am a heavy data user... My ISP hates me over my home connection, I transfer many TB a month at home.

My biggest data usage month with my iPhone over the past year was the month I bought it at 1.7GB. I use the phone all day at work to stream iheartradio/pandora/slacker and whenever there is an open wifi hotspot or I am home I am on WiFi.

It's really NOT a big deal but people act like it is the end of the world.

Many TERAbytes a month?? Are you sure you didn't mean gigabytes? One terabyte is a thousand gigabytes; that would be over 33 gigs a day every single day just for ONE terabyte. If you were actually doing that your ISP wouldn't just hate you, they'd shut you down.

The "extra charges" won't affect those of us who already have the unlimited data plan. I would wager a guess that's quite a large sum of customers. Even if I weren't "grandfathered" in I would pay the extra charges. IMO it would be well worth it.
