I am smiling because by 14 month old boy said my name for the first time today. And he has been healthy and not in the hospital for 6 months tomorrow.

That's what make our worlds go round.

I came in here and was going to say...

"Because I got to play with my boys today."

I know there are thousands of people out there who are divorced and don't get to see their kids...kids growing up in single households maybe not knowing their mom or dad, kids who don't get to see a parent because they are over seas fighting for our country....or worse, they gave the ultimate sacrifice for us while fighting for our country and those kids won't ever be able to see mommy or daddy again.

I smiled today....a BIG freakin' smile. Because I got to play with my kids today.

I smiled because my 3 year old read ME a book instead of me reading a book to him. I smiled because I got to put down my 17 month old who put his head on my shoulder and knew he was in the safest place in the world. I smiled when my 3 year old told me, "Daddy. I love you. I'm going to love you for the rest of my life." And I said, "I'm going to love you for the rest of my life and beyond." And he said, "Yeah. I'm going to love you like that too."

It was a good day.

I failed my Physiology test today. 68%.

Then I saw the 2010 Ford Fusion. And I am VERY impressed and proud of Ford.

I still haven't seen that movie yet. But, I saw Quantum of Solace, which was awesome.

Anyway, when I think about my friends who went mainland for college coming back to the island for the holidays, that brings a smile, and sometimes a tear. Of course, patiently waiting for the 5thGen, having a wonderful family, great friends, a 9-year-old car (holds sentimental value), and this site being my happy place in times of boredom or crappiness.

In the meantime, I have college. That could not be farther from the real world. Everyone is invited to the graduation party! Wear your Camaro5 shirts or Chevy gear. PM me for information.
