With the higher torque and the horrible stock tires, launching an L99 is like launching a RWD car in the ice. I've found out a few techniques to better it, but my launch is still pretty bad (being at a track that has horrible prep also contributes).

You have the bigger tires though, right? Probably part of the issue compared to the 20's.

I thought several A6 L99 cars have went 12.8s on stock tires. I haven't been to the track yet so i'm just curious.

Most L99 seem to either be going low 13 to low 14s. They are all over the place. I mostly run 13.5, 13.6 in mine. |

I do, but you'd think dropping the back tires to half their psi, and leaving the front ones at about 5 over would drop the car on the back and help, but they don't. The tires may contribute to the mph, but not the launch.

No I am not. It is posted in front of your eyes in black and white. You clearly have 0 idea what you are even trying to infer. Time to move on. |

id say the Camaro definitely needs more gear. esp in the manual...if you guys are shifting it at 6,500 a 4.10 is the absolute minimum.
