I like it, looks mean. How about a 2 door DODGE? And for gods sake, enough of the ram head logo. It looks really really stupid on anything other than a Ram!

It's a shame that no matter what they do to the charger now, they've already ruined it by making it a family sedan.

THIS is what a Charger SHOULD be. A two-door BEAST of a muscle car. Not a four-door family car.

didnt want this to turn into the "5.7 is under rated" debate, but its believed to actually be in the 390-400 range after countless dyno runs from people all over posting their results which dont add up to the claimed 376 from dodge.

i didnt believe it at first until i heard it from some trust-worthy people after they took a trip to the dyno!

the only other 2 door that makes little or any business sense at all is a cuda.

not another dodge 2 door. plus it is already widely known as a 4 door now and it has been a big seller as a 4 door.

Didn't need to be fixed, thanks. I said exactly what I meant to say. The new Charger is garbage plain and simple.

And for those who believe the current charger is a disgrace to the name because it has 4 doors, I present to you the previous generation of Dodge Charger:

I guess you all love that one, since it has 2 doors not 4. Never mind the lack of a V8, RWD, and attitude.
ugh, i had one of them too but it was the Plymouth version a 87 Plymouth Turismo "Duster" (gee lets bastardize not one but 2 classic mopar names on the same platform ). what made it the "duster" was the rear wing, chrome plated 'steel' wheels, full gauges, sunroof and higher end stereo. It was nice looking but it was a POS lemon. I had to have the carb rebuilt, replace the AC hoses, the headliner (panel too, not just the fabric) sagged, and it clanked when i hit big bumps. got all but the clank fixed and still sold it for 300 less than I paid for it because I did not have the time to get the AC recharged after replacing the hoses. the girl who bought said she would pay more if it worked even though i told her it DID work i just only replaced the leaky hoses and did not get it to the shop to have it refilled . because of that car i will NEVER buy a 80s front drive K car chrysler car EVER again.

On topic, it looks OK. I personally will never own another Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat product ever again.

I'll take my Ford and Chevy products that will retain their value much better.

i would recommend euro cars then. And to this day i dont understand the whole "holding it's value" comment. if you love a car so much you buy it, if your the type who likes to get cars every 3-4 years.... lease.

imo

When I decide to purchase a car I buy it. If I decide to mod it then I don't have to worry about lease issues. If I want to drive it over 12K a year then I will and not have to worry about it at the end of a lease.

I had a choice when I bought the Camaro and GT500. I bought American. I drove several BMW's. Not impressed.

Rest assured I will be keeping the Camaro and GT500 well beyond 4 years.

Again my point is Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge products do not hold their value as well as GM or Ford.

Back OT anyone?

Here's a thought -- Instead of editing my statements, why not make some of your own? Because what you're currently doing makes you look petty and immature.

Here's a fact for you, (since you seem so intent on pointing out that people's statements are opinons -- no kidding, seriously?)

The Charger is heavier than the Challenger -- a car pretty much everyone on this board recognizes as the fattest, heaviest, slowest of the three returning muscle cars. Not only is the Charger heavier than the Challenger, but all but the top trim has less power and torque than the Challenger.

So here you have the Challenger -- a car many on this board say can't even hope to be competitive unless you buy the ridiculously priced top trim level. And then you have the Charger, which is fatter, heavier and slower than a Challenger.

In terms of what people have come to expect from cars like this....what do you call 4th place? I call it garbage.
