i agree it took quite some time for them to break away from their cancer aka cerberus and daimler. but look at what has happened now that they are gone. 1st quarter profits and bump in release dates for new models.

I guess it was a bit much to expect much more than this thread is delivering.

The Dodge brand logo is the two slash marks, the vehicle logo will just be "DODGE" on a badge or such. The Charger is sold in larger numbers, on average, than the Camaro, and the Challenger around 2500 or so a month, nearly the entire monthly production run is sold on average.

Chrysler has always been the smallest of the big three and has had less models of cars than GM and Ford.

Rumor has it that this is the new logo to be placed directly in the center of your new TOYOTA grille!

I don't mean to derail the thread but where are they in their TARP repayment?

...is just ridiculous. The Sebring and Avenger are also pathetic products. Chrysler needs to step up its game or GM and Ford and the rest of the market will walk all over them.
GM definitely has the best designs of the big three imo. Chrysler does not count since they are way behind, but the cruze looks a lot better than that focus.

Was just a little ribbing back

Have you seen the new Grand Cherokee yet? That thing is HOT. And the new Pentastar seems like it is going to be a great engine, 290HP non DI and a DI version is coming (and it appears single and twin turbo models too). And you are right, they need new product, it is coming, it CANNOT happen overnight though. BUT by the end of this year we will have redesigned or heavily refreshed Charger, 300, Challenger, Grand Cherokee, Sebring, Avenger, Caliber got a much better interior for 10, the Wrangler, Patriot, and compass are supposed to to be update this year or next, the Wrangler will be getting the Pentastar then, the and at that point should have the Pentstar completely phaed in and and the older 6s phased out (as the Sebring/Avenger, Grand CHerokee, LX cars should all have it by the end of this year). Also they are supposed to be getting a competitive small car based on Fiat architecture, Ram is already best in class in a number of categories or right there with the rest (Chevies oldest designed 1/2 tons are lacking in a lot of areas compared with the latest Ram/F150). I would like to see Chrysler get back to their former glory as they were in much of the 90s when they were the most profitable automaker, before the whole Daimler Fiasco. otherwise they are paying back their gobernment loans, they are seeing increased sell, and even starting to see some profit. They have Dual clutch transmission and a new 8 speed automatic codesigned with ZF coming pparently for the trucks and SRT cars. Not ot mention again the Pentastar V6, the new 6..4 Hemi, the still excellent 5.7 Hemi. They aren't going anywhere and we are going to see some great things, especially as Fiat tech and Chrysler tech start to Merge.

Actually I believe Fiat only has 35% of Chrysler, so no, not yet.

Design is a matter of opinion, I like CHryslers SUVs and trucks better, prefer the Challengers design over the other 2 (though the Mustangs have really grown on me and IMHO from 2005 til now they are georgous), would definalt take a Charger or 300 over a Taurus or Impala, I think the Malibu looks the best, but would probably go for a Fusion instead, the Fiesta is better than the Aveo IMHO, I would take the new Equinox over the Edge, and still have an affinity for the Tahoe, I really like the new Regal and just hope the design works as good in person as it does the pictures, GOtta love the CTS family, I would take a Patriot over the Escape (just because it has some modcrum of offroad ability), I really don't consider GM offering a direct competitor here because the Equinox Terrain is more in the larger Edge/Journey category, of the Journey, really like this one, looks great IMHO, but seriously needs the Pentastar. I really find it to be a tie with Traverse and Flex though as IMHO all 3 are good looking, but like the Mustang, Camaro, and CHallenger, they all have very different design languages. Trucks, love the Ram, nice exterior, excellent interior, like the F-150 (though I only love the Raprtor), I prefer the HD Ram because it does not carry a Urethra tank. All the big 3s smaller trucks need redesigns so i am not even going there LOL. Anywho, I find lots to like and dislike in all 3.

Dodge doesn't need a fancy logo on the car. Putting dodge on the side by itself says it all.

Take that how you want to.
