Please pray for my Grandfather-Richard
my step-grandfather Rich went into cardiac arrest this past tues while at work.
he came in the shop complaining of some chest pain, wanted to lay down and then collapsed My mom started and continued CPR for 10 min until the medics arrived. they shocked him twice and then...after 15 some min down... got a pulse. he was transported to metro medical center. . . where he is now.. since his condition has improved ...altho he is still in critical condition. he is in a coma like state still intubated and on a vent- he can not breath well enough on his own. However... he has started to move his arms and legs, can open his eyes and the drs are amazed @ his progress, they said they think he may be off the vent soon- he may pull through Rich out of many things is also a fellow car guy...who has been racing ever since he could drive. his current toy altho not a camaro is still a beauty... Blue 2007 40th Ann. Shelby Super Snake please keep him in your prayers as he fights to recovery

yea my mom did save his life. that 10min would have went a lot different.

Sounds like his conidition is impriving if they are going to take him off the ventilator - that is very good news.
Best wishes and we will be thinking of your grandgfather hoping that he can soon go home. |
